Aquila Rubino is an amazing string set

I have tried the Aquila Sugar, Alabastro, Cristallo, Alchemia and they all were very interesting strings so now my classical guitar students use Alabastro and Cristallo. But I still needed something more for my flamenco guitar and I found it in the Rubinos. I also play classical guitar pieces on my flamenco because I love the sound this guitar has.

The Rubino sound clear, prompt, bright in a good and refined way (not carbonish at all), loud and have that "punch" I like in my sound. They intonate perfectly, stay in tune from the very first hour (if you stretch them properly and carefully during installation), you can actually use them the very first day with amazing results without getting out of tune all the time. Definitely try them on classical or flamenco guitar.

Please give some time to your left hand fingertips to get used to the material as it may first feel a bit stiffer than nylon (the same goes for the Alabastro). The tension is normal (just a bit tighter feeling on the trebles) and they feel very comfortable to play on and barring chords is very easy. To me they feel very fast too for scales and of course for arpeggios and tremolo as they sound very clear.
