Zaffiro is one more great set from Aquila

The basses are the same nylgut basses Aquila uses on Alabastro and other sets, pretty good, intonate perfectly, are very stable and last a good amount of time. The trebles, where the Zaffiro get their name from, are very good indeed. The feel and thickness are closer to nylon but the sound is brighter, prompt, and more powerful than normal nylon. I think this is why Aquila says they sound closer to fluorocarbon strings.

I would definitely recommend them to fluorocarbon users but also to nylon players too. They are great and worth a try.
