D'Addario ECB81 Chromes Flat Wound

My first experience with flat wounds turned out very well, they are much more comfortable than the round wounds that were originally on this bass, allow to faster glide along the head, are more pleasant to use, and sound very good too, which is really the main point for bass strings, isn't it.

So, would I redo it? Yes, I think I'll string another bass in flats, but keep at least one in rounds just to be able to hear the nuances.
