How it works?

The human ear does not perceive sound in an uneven way. Indeed, its very specific amplification curve peaks at around 4000 htz and remains insensitive in the high and low extremes.

Note also that the sensitivity of the ear varies greatly depending on the sound pressure.

So when the sound is attenuated, the ear naturally wants to compensate for all the other frequencies that it does not naturally amplify and to which it is much less sensitive.

Based on this observation, the universal Earpad has been developed to protect hearing in an optimum way by promoting attenuation on the most sensitive frequencies and by releasing the attenuations on the extreme bass and treble in order to make the sound more natural and more dynamic.
