Our Pure Nickel strings have a rich, warm frequency and a distinctive vintage tone that sets them apart from the modern-day nickel-plated steel strings. Crafted with care, they not only evoke the classic sound of the 1960s, but also provide exceptional durability.

This set is compatible with Fender® vintage THROUGH BODY Mustang® bass guitars.

This set DOES NOT work with newer Mustang® models that have TOP LOADING BRIDGES. Top loading models take any La Bella short scale set.

Wound Length of 34″ / the distance from the ball-end to where the silk begins is 34″. This includes a 1.75″ flexible tail by the ball-end.
