These strings are really different in feel and tone. I can see somebody really disliking them if they like the chime and ring of brand new bronze or phosphor bronze strings. These are not about the chime -- they are about the fundamental tone. they really bring out a vintage woody vibrating and warm sustained tone. They feel looser than other strings as well.
